This short is in response to Maia Wilson's, of Minutes Between Us, question "what is your goal in filming?" I approach every project as an artistic endeavour, and want to capture a vision that bridges the gap between beauty and meaning.

When looking for inspiration I try to use my real-world surroundings. Since moving to New Zealand, I've been surrounded by nature constantly. At first it was a bit overwhelming, but now I love being this close to nature.

This piece highlights the design elements and delicate quality in Raquel de Carvalho's work. De Carvalho aimed to create pieces which pulled from gothic motifs, and this theme was accentuated through the editing style, and music choices.

Raquel de Carvalho's work consists of mixing textures and playing with contrasting transparencies and lace, through the knitting technique "intarsia". Her aim for this project is to explore the body and sensuality through knitwear, in order to create bold and desirable pieces.

Designer Raquel de Carvalho candidly speaks about her relationship to her garments, and what matters most to her during the design process. De Carvalho believes that designers should "use your skills, the things you love, and the things you are passionate about to make people feel good about themselves."

This stop motion technique takes a 360 look at Raquel de Carvalho's garment, and highlights various details throughout. This approach allows the viewer to appreciate hidden gems that may be missed when viewing the piece from afar.

As Jasmine's single "Calamite" debuts this month, the objective was to transform her music video into promotional pieces that could be used across her social media channels. I created teasers for her posts and stories, highlighting visually enticing snippets from her music video.
